As part of our flagship ‘Wednesday Night Live’ Young Professionals programme, we are delighted to bring you this three-part series, in partnership with The London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism. Each week we will hear from a different contributor to the ‘Responses to 7 October’ anthology - published by Routledge and available from 22nd May.
Week 1 - Wednesday 22nd May
Prof. Rosa Freedman - Professor of law, conflict & global development at the University of Reading will give a legal critique of the claim that Israel is genocidal and is committing war crimes.
Week 2 - Wednesday 29th May
Prof. Eric Heinze - Professor of Law & Humanities at Queen Mary University will share insights into the ideology that motivated the events of October 7th and the Antisemitic responses to it.
Week 3 - Wednesday 5th June
Mr Derek Spitz - Barrister at One Essex Court will be analysing the Antisemitism that has swept across campuses worldwide, and helping us to understand how it is tolerated and even protected there.
Copies of the anthology ‘Responses to 7 October’ will be available for purchase.
