Joel was born and bred in Elstree and Borehamwood. A graduate of JFS & Birmingham University, Joel went on to study in the Centre Program at Ohr Somayach. Joel has always been involved with the wider Jewish community and was recognised as one of the Top 10 Jewish Leaders to watch in the Jewish News 30 under 30.
Passionate about education, Joel has spent his career in a variety of educational initiatives. From helping launch innovative employment and parenting skills programmes across 20 of the UK’s toughest prisons to spearheading a new online e-learning programme for over 18 million customers during the Global Covid-19 Pandemic, Joel really wants to make an impact with the work that he does.
Joel currently lives in Golders Green with his wife Elisha, where they both love to host students and Young Professionals. A keen whisky enthusiast, Joel is always acquiring unique bottles of whisky to try with his friends (old and new) at his Shabbos table.
